I just bought a used 93 cbr 600 f2 with 30000 on it, bike has only had one owner! Its in awesome condition, the guy said he just recently had all the engine gaskets replaced. When the bike sits at idle it makes alot of noise, he said that the tappets need to be tightend or adjusted. I dont know to much about it, Is this a serious issue? I was going to take it to a honda shop. Whats the first thing I should do? any help would be great Thanks

I have a 93 also, when the bike is idleing pull in the clutch and see if the noise stops or quiets down. If not you might need your valves adjusted. These bikes have noisy clutches though...
