Well, the deal fell through when the other guy totally reneged. Is it just my bad luck or are all the people on craigslist a bunch of flakes? I've had nothing but bad luck with the bikes I've found on CL.

Anyway, I did get to test ride the 954. It felt smaller than I expected. I'm thinking about looking at CBR1100xx instead. I want something I can ride 600-700 miles a day for 3 or 4 days straight and still be able to walk at the end of the day.
