This is kinda off subject, but why a 600 and not a literbike? Is it $$$ driven or something else?

ok ill put an end to this i owned a 06 r6 raven.....i now own an 04 600rr the reason ..it was my third r6 and i tell the rr may be a little more uncomfortable but fo the money i payed for the r6 i wish i would have a bought an rr the rr is way more responsive than the r6 was i dont care what anyone says the r6 "looks" nice and is a nice "track bike" but for daily and fun riding the 600rr is way better and u can get a rr way cheaper than u can the over priced 06 or 07 r6 however as for yamaha the 06 and 07 r the best r6's that yamaha has come out with im new to honda but should have picked them along time ago.

You guys have to be kidding right??  I sat on the 07 R6 at the stealer yesterday and it was quite possibly the most uncomfortable thing I have ever laid my delicate cheeks upon!  I'm 6'3" and was still on my tippy toes, having to balance from one leg to the other because the seat is so high.  Plus, the seat is so wide that it forces your legs to do a kind of split that threatens to rip your inseam when putting both feet down!  With both feet up and on the pegs it was ok, but stop and go riding on this thing would S-U-C-K big time!!

I had the same problem back in 06. But here is a piece of a conversation I had with the sales man I had while sitting on a bunch of different bikes in the back of the warehouse at the dealership. Luck him he gets to bring home just about any bike he wants. Though he didn’t say anything directly bad about the R6. He did grab one to take home. Got half way there turned around and went back for a different bike. (ouch)
