Hey dudes,
'03 F4i... Wondering about a throttle lock for fooling around. I have seen some mechanical ones and possibly some computerized ones. What have you all used, and liked, and found to be the best.
Also wondering about tail light integration. It appears (Haven't closely looked) that there is only a bulb or two. Any recoms on a LED system that looks really sharp? Don't mind spending the money.

i just bought a fiberglass undertail.. it required some trimming of the stock undertail w/ a dremmel. it relocates your lock as well, but doesn't have a cable mount for the locking mechanism like the stock undertail. still functional though just by putting it in there (this means the cable, not the lock itself... it doesn't flop around and fall out). it has brake light LEDs and 2 smaller clear housing amber LED's for signals, i may replace those with something brighter for visibility reasons. otherwise i'm quite happy with it. i believe the seller on ebay was pimpbikes.com.

EDIT: it was $179 US shipped.

I just bought some nice LED's for the front marker lights from 58cycle for I think $100 or so.. they are really cool and fit the f4i mount perfectly... They've got an aluminum casing in many colors and clear or amber lens. As for looks... I like amber markers and those who disagree take a second look at these. Best marker lights I've ever seen on a bike. I will post again with a picture later on. As for the rear, I just bought a Hot Bodies undertail complete with shotgun LED brakes and amber LED stips for signals... really nice and a fraction of the cost from those ebay guys or even Hot Bodies themselves... It's a sale though FYI. Hard to find replacements for undertails so it is a good idea to pick an undertail with lights you like. Last but not least, make sure the undertail is ABS and not fiberglass or you'll never match the color/ finish and get a wheel hugger to protect it or it'll look like your stock trunk panel now.. nasty.
As for the throttle lock, ouch... I just got my license back after a year so please... I don't even want to think about it.
