21 degrees January of 04 at about 9 p.m. Never again! The wind chill and not really being prepped for it wasn't a good idea. I'd sooner cut my fingers off with a dull spoon before I go out again dressed the way I was.

5 degrees F,  you better beleive that was cold as hell.  The bike had to get to storage somehow and riding 20 miles was easier than getting a trailer.  Minnesota weather can be a bitch, thats all I have to say.

I rode Thursday at around 5pm in Milwaukee, for a SHORT bit. Surprised I didn't get frost-bite. I believe it was -3 to -9 degrees discounting wind chill. BRRR!!!!

I have a 30 min each way commute and often do it in 30 degrees or less... but I'm wired for heat so theres nothing to it.

Heres an idea...stay at her place....and do both

35 degrees + 2 hours + all freeway = miserable
never again

It was in the 30's...some guy at the nursing home one of my family members works at loved motorcycles, but was going to pass away soon, so, I took my bike up there so he could see it, sit on it, take pictures, etc...it was cold as hell out, but worth every minute. He's still in the nursing home but the good thing is, he's showing progress, so who knows, maybe he'll be able to ride again.
