I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of anyone converting their f2 to run on e85. I have talked to friends(who run a top fuel nastalgia class front engine rail car), and have done quite a bit of my own research. I am also a sophmore in mechanical engineering at ISU. Basically all that I have found is that the motor should run fine with a rejetting (a big rejetting). The only other real concern is fuel lines and possible gaskets. Beings that the bike is built to run on e-10 I was wondering if anyone had any experience with how fast these might wear out? The conversion will be my winter project if all the research goes well. For a little more info there is a School in cali using a cbr 600f2 motor for their formula SAE car. It's running on e-85 with an inhouse built and designed fuel injection system. They use completely stock motors and are only able to modify fuel and exhaust systems. The IA State team is using a Kaw motor and doing the same thing. So I know it's possible... I hope some one has some good ideas, questions, or points... and don't give me any e85 has less power than gas, it'll destroy your motor because the atmospheric pressure is higher inside the motor which will cause the exhaust to melt your muffler stupid stuff. I want real info
