RE: what is high milage? - 5/6/2007 11:46:25 AM    ddvs Posts: 547 Joined: 5/16/2006 From: Bay Area Status: offline F4, production built - the 2nd of 99 built.   48 thousand miles and I still ride it HARD, no probs.  Countless tires and chains, OIL changes 600 miles,  flush the system quarterly.  If it's stored outside, go buy a cover ffs :)  Plain and simple;  She will respect you if you are willing to get your hands dirty, otherwise a typical person isn't going to want to take it to have it done @ the shop-  I think this is why most bikes don't last long because the average person just gets LAZY.  It takes dedication to have a properly FUNCTIONAL High-Performance machine... treat it like one.  _____________________________ A Contributor (in reply to tombooze) Post #: 31
