I want to buy an 1/2 tank pad but I need to remove the old one. Anybody...........

I have never tried this on a tank pad but usually if you use a blow dryer, you can loosen the adhesive enough to pull it off, on a gas tank I would not recommend anything hotter than a blow dryer, unless your looking for an insurance claim   lol

Hair dryer or preferably a heat gun and some Goo Be Gone for the adhesive. Heat it up and peel it back slow. When the pad is off pour the Goo Be Gone on a soft cloth an gently wipe off the adhesive.

try heating it up and using some floss to get behind it, thats what i did for debadging my car back in the days, comes off clean usually with no residue if u get it warm enough.

when i take off stuff with adhesive i use a heat gun or hair dryer, and i use fishing line and some goo be gone or nail polish remover that works for me
