I pressure tested my oilcooler by blocking coolant outlet and put  20psi air @ inlet and found no leaks. What kind pressure does the cooling system run at. I think its safe to say its not leaking. I was also thinking that the oil in the pic was in fact contaminated with water that if it sat for a few hours it would show signs of seperation and it  didn't. I decided to do a little experiment: I took some used oil and added some 50/50 antifreeze and shook well. It mixed nicely and in a couple of hours it had partially seperated. I'm thinking maybe that the oil pictured looks worse because of the flash on my camera. Keep in mind that its fairly new oil and was just dropped right before picture was taken. Any more thoughts on this one?

how can you tell if it separates out? did you put it in a clear container or just left it as is? it could be your flash but from what we can see...definitely mixing going on.

Also when I heat a little of the oil on a metal surface with a torch there is no popping or spatter. Whick there should be in water is present.
