So, back in the day when I owned my trans am, I ran around on stock wheels with the rears widened to 11.5'' to accomodate a 315 tire.

Now recently, I saw in a mag. where they widened the stock rear wheel on a aprillia (or buell or sometihng, wasn't really paying too much attention at the time). I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about it, or better yet had it done?

How much wider did/can you go?
Where did you have it done?
