Looks like someone was having fun. Nice scenery !! Down here, we've got Everglades and swamps. Lots of long straight roads.

ORIGINAL: yas001 oacuna, It looks your bike is missing left side cover. Have you checked out this site? http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hondaz/CBR10001987-90.htm Yas This is going to sound stupid...but I changed the oil a while back. I don't know why I took the left cover off, but I didn't put it back on right ( I left some screws out.) I went inside and grabbed a bite to eat. When I came outside I was eager to ride and forgot I didn't put all the screws in. Whoops...95mph on the highway 2 miles later. I managed to pick it up later, but I haven't reattached it because the mounts where the screws go are broken. I am debating redoing the entire bike....or fixing the cover and mounting it.

I had done same kind of thing. While I had been riding my another bike, I lost a brand new tank badge. It costed me $65 a piece. I set the badge on the side of 1978 CB750F's fresh re-painted fuel tank temporarily, and looked at that satisfactorily... but forgot to tap it into the bracket with the hardware... Then, went to ride on highway. I heard something "cha-ching.." sound, but had not been noticed for a couple days....oh well.. Did I order another one? Yes, I did.. Total $130..gee..

We all make mistakes....At least it wasn't a rear wheel you lost LOL If you look at some of the pics you'll notice there are cliffs on either side of the road. Sometime between 50-100ft. Toward the end of my ride...the road was blocked off and there were a lot of officers looking over the side. A car had driven off the side! I was going to take a picture but...I don't think the officers would have liked that. The ride is awesome...I used to tear it up with my CBRf4i going 50mph through 15mph turns...but since a few of my friends crashed, I just ride to enjoy it. I would have taken my CBRf4i, but it's too tempting to go fast.
