hey guys ive heard on dirt bikes that you use special bike radiator fluid so you dont kill your water pump or the seal in it

anyone have any comments on this? is the bike shop just trying to sell me $40 of fluid so they can line there pockets a little more?

All you need is rain water (not tap) and the correct amount of antifreeze and if you wont you can put in an extra aditive which has antifreeze and a sealent to keep those rubber bits soft.  Dont let them stick there arm up you.  If you flush the system through with tap water first then any odd bits should come out..........
