I Just bought a 04,  trailered it home didnt have insurance or registered yet and the garage I keep it in needed a new lock so I wheeled it into my townhouse.  I was only goign to keep it there for about week untill i got everything set up.  About a day goes by and I get a call for the old bastards on the board flipping out threanting they are going to call the cops and its a huge fine and they are going to call he police to have them remove it and put a lein on my house and all this other bullshit if i didnt move it immediately.  So basically, i had to ride with no insurance or registration to a garage with no lock, talk about stress.  luckly i was able to get a lock on the garage the next day but still i was pissed.  I told the board to f$%k themselves and now when mmy buddies come by on there bike or if im alone i going to make it a point to make as much noise as possible right in front of there units at all and any hours of the day.   I would check the rules of where you are going to live because if its not allowed and you have to move it you may be screwed luckily in my case i had a place to keep it.

Just my $.02

I'd bring her inside if I was you. If I had an apartment on the second floor i'd still drive her ass up the stairs lol, or the elevator. Does putting a bike in an elevator violate fire code? Hmmm I don't think so, cause of that damn "in case of fire use stairs" sign lol

I'm with ya' rippn! lol, ever sense the girl moved out, yeah, it was hard at first...but now I have alot more room. Hell, now I can turn the garage into a workshop and not have her fing boxes everywhere! Hell, I still may move it back inside, you know, for the centerpiece. I live in a duplex, my landloards cool as hell, and my duplex neighbors both ride, so I don't think that they'd complain!

hey, yea landlord hates the bikes inside.  Me and my roomie both have 600RR and we park em in living room/kitchen.  nothing is better than waking up in the morning and seeing those bikes in the apt.  We live on the first floor luckily, but there is a step to get in.  We ended up putting a permanent board out on the concrete patio and then we just ride em up in the apt through the sliding glass door.  Im sure well get killed on our security deposit, but its worth it!

Only once has the landlord said something...they were doing there rounds at night and saw the liscence plates reflection.  they knocked on the door and said we had an hour to get em out otherwise we would be fined.  We ended up closing the blinds and when they came back pretended we werent there.  now we just cover the back of the motorcycles with a sheet so they cant see the plates and no problems since.

FUNNY STORY:
keep an eye on all guests...My roomie went to the bathroom and left a drunk girl in the apt by herself.  she sat on one of the bikes, and she couldnt support the weight and dropped it, luckily it was my roomies bike.haha

So yea i fully recommend parking it inside!

ok heres my parking inside story

I lived in a duplex and got lucky enough to find one with a $150 deposit. I to had a roomie and he also rode. he moved out and the landlord decided to do his"normal walk  around outside" anywho, I forgot and left the blinds open on the screen door after a long ride and was sleeping. He told me I had to get it out or I had to get out, so the next night I left it on the back patio. after sweating all night about it I said F it and brought it back in the house. Two weeks later suprise vist and I got cought again. I was informed I had to leave cause of break in contract. OK ASSHOLE I'm out, but before I left I thought well its only $150, so I left him the rest of the rear tire on the tile in the dinning room I bet that house still smells like burnt rubber. Now in my new house I have a garage and a new girl she doesn't mind the bike in the house since her last one got stolen right out of her garage.

I know but the guy was kinda like one of those LL that thinks he needs to be all in your life as though you moved in with him not into his house. I keep that place up better than anyone and I was in construction then and did alot of repairs on his other houses and he never even offered to pay or anything. I guess it was alot more than just a one time thing like I made it seem sorry

Even though what you did was wrong and I would never do something like that myself...I almost pissed myself reading that. I don't know why, and I do feel bad about it but I can't stop laughing.
