I live on the bottom floor of a duplex with a twocar garage right next to my bathroom so there's no real need for me to park my bike in my living space. However, I can't stop thinking of how I'd like to put it up on front and rear T-rex stands along the wall, with track lighting set up over it.  In order to take it out All I have to do is open the sliding glass door, no problem.  There's just something about watching TV and being able to look over at it without having to get up, take 10 steps to the garage door, and  flip the light on. Yeah, I'm a lazy ass

I keep it in the garage blocked in by my cars.
during the winter I have it my three season porch (no idea why they call it that since it has centeral heating and cooling and is litterally inside the house) but, I dive it up some 7' ramps from the garage ;)

so why would it be a fire code issue? given the tank of fuel is no worse than paint thinner jug?

just tape the game controller to the grips and tell them it's a gamer's controller

ok heres my parking inside story

I lived in a duplex and got lucky enough to find one with a $150 deposit. I to had a roomie and he also rode. he moved out and the landlord decided to do his"normal walk  around outside" anywho, I forgot and left the blinds open on the screen door after a long ride and was sleeping. He told me I had to get it out or I had to get out, so the next night I left it on the back patio. after sweating all night about it I said F it and brought it back in the house. Two weeks later suprise vist and I got cought again. I was informed I had to leave cause of break in contract. OK ASSHOLE I'm out, but before I left I thought well its only $150, so I left him the rest of the rear tire on the tile in the dinning room I bet that house still smells like burnt rubber. Now in my new house I have a garage and a new girl she doesn't mind the bike in the house since her last one got stolen right out of her garage.

didn't he give you notice?  I belive all states req. something like 24 hr. notice

besides I painted a car (flat out removed the fenders bumper everything) we were the first renters too!  they could smell it and I told them I was painting a model in the garage anyway I had hung some cheap old plasic around the garage and as luck would have it the static made the paint and overspray cling right to it.    there was some red dust here and there that needed some touching up but over all you could not tell when they walked through

I bring mine in every night. If I ride for a while I let it cool then I wash tires and body with hose lightly and I might wipe it off with towl just depends. Most times its clean enough to just roll it on in. fyi i have pretty beige carpet. The front door is just to left of photo I moved it in front of tv just to take pick. The door sill has about a 4 inch drop on it. If you are very comfortable doing a burn out then you should have no problem getting your bike over a door sill or small drop. Watch your sides though look at my pick see I have closed second rider foot pegs. Those and the side mirrors are a close fit the first few times you pull it through doorway. It becomes second nature once youve gone in a few times. Ps ... Yes the dog is real.

Dog, dont be ashamed to bring yo sh*t inside! At least you will have a bike in the morning! If not go ahead and leave it out side and you can start complaining how your bike was STOLEN!

If your lucky to find an apt that has a 1 floor avaliable, it would be cool, As long as you dont get caught by the landlord. There is a vid of some guy with his bike in the apt and he's moving ,so he did burn outs on wood floors. If i was the landlord id be pissed if anyone puts a bike in the apt after watching that vid.

Yeah, I got a walk out basement, I bring my '06 600RR in every time I ride.  I poured a concrete ramp--took me an afternoon and my neighbor's help, but it beats having to jump a 4" step!
