hey guys, im usually on the 600 hurricane page talking about my 88, but yesterday i got a '00 too. so i just wanted to say whats up. my 88 is undergoing streetfighter surgery for spring, but the '00 is gonna have all the bodywork kept on. one question.... it had been sitting for awhile and will try to turn over, but wont actually start, could this be the plugs? im gonna change the oil, gas, filters, and plugs and hopefully thatll solve it. thanks guys!

Congrats on the new ride, you'll have to post some pics. Could possibly be that your plugs are fowled out so i'd replace them. Depending on how long it has sat your gas in the carbs could have gelled in which you may need to be cleaned.

As stated above, replace the plugs if that doesn't work, clean the carbs....

You will love the F4, I have a 99 F4 and a 03 RR and I still love the F4, just different bikes.
