Is it bad for me to ride around with no plastics on the bike what so ever. mi was considering this becasue mine are all beat to crap and are held on by zip ties. I knwo that with no plastics if i go down the bike's junk but does it reallly look stupid with no plastics ont he bike? basically what i'm asking what are the pros and cons of riding aroud with no plastics?

Pro- You get to ride your bike (the most important thing)
Con- Kinda looks funny. Might get more engine heat on your legs. Won't cut the air as good.
Nothing to much to worry about. lol

I just took all the fairing off my 87 Hurricane White with Red Stripe, The main right side is broke in half But maybe you can fix it.
I'll try and put some pics of them with my bike, Any way let me know if u want them.

I bought an '88 that was wrecked and had none of the plastic left. I had no intentions of getting plastic for it but instead to make it into a "naked streetfighter" type bike. I bought a small Raptor(aftermarket by Bike-it) fairing for it, modified the upper fairing stay to fit it, modified the gauges to fit in the tighter area, removed the passenger pegs and brackets, moved the tail light and license plate up higher and closer to the seat, added handlebar end mirrors, cut the front fender to a smaller size. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but is looking pretty cool, definetly one of a kind. It does turn a lot of heads too.
Anyway, my point is you don't need all your plastic and you can actually have a bike that looks good. You don't have to worry about any harmful affects riding it that way.

aight thanks i might actually do something of that sort maybe not to that extent but i kinda like how it looks with no fairign cause i had to take one side off to replace my throtle cable and it didn't look too bad, of course it was dirty as hell but it looked original.
