Do you guys believe in SIGNS!!!! 1) Got to the airport 30 minutes before the departure time. My suitcase had to be hand carried into the airplane, since the luggage cart had already left the "lobby". 2) I decided to do a "pit stop" before going to the Gate. As I am walking to what I thought was my gate, I realized, it is not the Southwest gate I want. Shut! I have to go all the way down to the end of the B wing to find my gate B17. 3) As I walk by B14, I heard my name being called through the airport speakers. The airplane now has to wait for me, since the airline is trying to get a Security permit in order to open the Gate's door again. I was late! 4) I got on my seat, and asked for the Newspaper. The first thing I see on the paper is a big article about the TV series "LOST". You know the airplane that crashes on an island leaving several survivors. At this point I started thinking about all this little incidents. The questions on my head were "Should I be flying", is somebody trying to tell me something?" Oh well, perhaps I have a big imagination. 5) I arrived to Reno and walked to the Rental Car counter (Advantage). For "some reason" they could not locate my reservation. I forgot the confirmation code, so 6) I called my house, but for "some reason" mi wife could not locate the file with the confirmation code in my computer. After 30 minutes in the phone, the guy from Advantage some how "found me" in the system. 7) When I got to the hotel, I tried to park my car in the Hotel parking lot, but a Dump truck was blocking the access to it. I had to go around in order park the car in the parking lot. 8) Check in starts at 3:00PM, so I was there at 2:30 PM, but the lady just laughed, because it was actually 2 O'clock (Reno Time) I space out about the time difference. I had to wait 1 1/2 before I could check in. 9) The two day camp is taking place in Fernley (30 miles away from Reno), so I decided to drive over there to check the track and figure out how to get there. I am driving I-80 East, and 9 miles before Fernley, I found myself stuck in traffic. Traffic was literally dead. A tanker truck filled with liquid natural gas was burning in one of the truck stops (Exit 48). The incident forced evacuations and closed Interstate 80 about 30 miles east of Reno near Fernley (9 miles). I turned off the engine and waited for about 35 minutes, before I decided to go across the media and hit back to Reno. Later on, I found that there is a 250 dollars fine if you get caught doing this. Oh well, my life was in danger. http://ktvn.com/dyn_fullnews.asp?area=fullTopStory&storyid=4039 5) Now I keep hearing about motorcycle accidents everywhere. I opened the local news webpage and there it is a "A deadly motorcycle crash" http://ktvn.com/dyn_fullnews.asp?area=fullTopStory&storyid=4026 I tell the Hotel receptionist I ride a bike, and she automatically starts telling me about some motorcycle accidents. Well, what do you guys think? P.S. I feel much better now. Thank you for reading.

Think you'll have a great time at the track, cause you've got no traffic coming at ya, no stoplights, intersections, cars, cops, tankers etc. etc. just go and have fun sounds like you've got all the headaches out of the way early on, ha. Just go out and find some nice lines keeping things at a reasonable speed, be smooth, once you've got a good feel for their bikes and your lines, add a little more speed and start watching your brake markers, the more you acclaimate to the track the more speed you'll be able to add and then you can start braking a bit later etc. etc. be alert be smooth, just watch out for squids man. it'll be a kick and the smile won't be able to be slapped off your face for a week afterwards. All the best G
