Hey guys, while in school I am not too sure I can afford the insurance on my bike...

Anyone know anything about the gs500f's?  Will it be a big power gap between the f4i and the gsf?

hell yes.  I started on an 1989 GS500E which is the no faired version of the GFS.  You are talking about 35hp for the GSF and that is a drop from about 95hp on your F4i.  I maxed my old bike out at 100mph and all my buddies passed me like I was standing still.  Still the insurance was about half as much as what I am paying now.

the power difference between the GS500F and your F4i will be INCREDIBLE. it'll be like going from a corvette to a civic. I'd look at the EX500 if you want a slightly more powerful bike, @50hp its not much to write home about but it'll get ya around from A to B and have some fun in the corners in between.
