Going to be picking up my first bike next week and will need a helmet!

the paint of the bike is the 2004 600RR scheme of black with the silver/grey honda flames...

What kinda helmet should i get. Ive seen some nice Shoei helmets and some HJC ones. I will probably get plain black as my buddy does airbrushing so i will have him paint it up.. anyways.

I need something for a good price but a GREAT helmet (minimal wind noise, warm in colder weather and cool in summer time, no fogging!, etc..)

Suggestions please!

i didn't think my z1r was comfortable at all. The HJC's are really nice cheap helmets. If you want something quiet make sure it doesn't have alot of crazy vents.

I just got a new KBC with the Moto Design. It is the gun slinger one.... check it out. I love it. I think they are a great buy for the quality. I would like a Shoei but this helmet would cost around 750 from Shoei and I got it for about 250 since its KBC.

I love my Scorpion EXO 700. The Everclear shield will not fog up. It's a great price on an excellent helmet.

I think helmets like this only exist in fairy tales...

I got my HJC CL-SP off ebay for $113 new, they retailed for $180 at the time. I like it a lot, very comfy, not heavy, great visor system, and they make different shell sizes so if you have a small dome like me you dont end up looking like a bobble head.

ive got a shark helmet.. its the fairy tale helmet youre lookin for.. light, minimal noise, steady with temp change, minimal fogging.. but they run anywhere from 400-600 bones.. if you search youll find it cheaper.. i got mine for 225 still new in the box from a guy at a dealer. he bought it and blew his bike up in the few weeks he was waitin for it to come in..
