ok the other day i was going home from work.... and theres this nice rd which i take, i mean take....... so i hit like 150 and let off the throttle till i hit 60 the i hit the throttle again. At this time, the bike like studdered. and bucked almost like it was running out of gas, but i had half a tank........ its kinda got me trippin, cuz im takin a nice long ride to Wildwood, NJ for Firefighters convention. and i really dont need anything happening to me on the way down or home...... thx ahead of time, for ur input

How'd it run the rest of the way home? I'd be inclined to say it was your intake air pressure sensor got fooled because you had 0% throttle position but positive air pressure. Took maybe a sec or two to figure out where the heck it was.

were you in the top gear still? if you were, you were in the bottom of the powerband, and top gear roll on sucks without any torque or HP

its happend to me before. i was on a mountain road with my wife on the back and it felt like i was in a rodeo. it happend like 3 times and i was really getting nervous... turns out that i just put on some black accent lights on my bike and my dad (he was helping me) didnt tighten a battery terminal all the way and it wasnt making a proper connection. i tightend it and ran beautiful ever since.

yes i was in top gear, no i didnt down shift.... yea was pretty scary, it ran fine on the way home..... but i did let it sit for 2 days before i rode it..... seems fine now, but should i have it looked at, or what???

yeah it's becuz it was in the top gear...meaning that you were under the powerband causing it to lag in power when u got back on it
