Im in the process of mounting my HID lights under the back seat and was wondering if having no headlights plugged into the little sockets could cause a bike not to start.  It wouldnt start 2 weeks ago and I had it at a shop for rims to get put on and we push started it and it worked.  I went and bought a battery tender and the light stays green(meaning its charged) so I dunno if it can be a battery issue.  The bike acts like it wants to start and keeps getting juice but wont start and fumes and a little smoke are coming out the back.  I live in the mountains in pennsylvania so I dunno if its too cold that would not allow it to start(about 20 degrees) or the headlight issue.  If anyone could help, i'd greatly appreciate all input.

Anthony

From what I hear , no bulb , no start.
Don't your HID plug into the bulb socket?

Yes it does plug in but I dont have too much time to work on my bike and i'm trying to figure out what might go wrong if I cut into the silicon wires from the HID's(which I already did, and someone said you are not supposed to).  I'm about to go into my garage now and  try and finish my HID install and hopefully the bike starts once the light is plugged in.
