Hi, i'm new here and looking for some info on upgrading the suspension on my 98 900rr.  I was wondering if it was worth the money to get a top of the line shock or would it be more in my interest to get a middle of the pack priced shock.  I am primarily a street rider.  Thanks in advance

Hi, I just had lindeman enginerring rebuild my stock shock on my '98 and was amazed at the difference.  I thought about installing an Ohlins but at around $1000 I couldn't justify the expence for a street bike.  They rebuilt the shock and put on a little heavier spring and it only set me back $325 and worth every penny.  Plus now I have the money to do the same to the front forks.   You can get  their address and phone number from the back of any Cyclenews.  Good luck and Happy riding.
