Wasn't sure where to post this, figured here would work.

Okay, so I just bought a strap to lower my front end for drag racing, so I don't wheelie.  This is my first time trying this, and I wanted to see where is the best place to hook up the strap.  Is the bolt circled below the best?  What's worked for you guys?

You use the one on top. I had to use a longer bolt for my brake bracket.

I have a 03 CBR600F4i.  I ended up doing just what bindel showed in the picture.  Everything worked great, now I just need to work on switching gears quicker and getting the most out of each gear.
Thanks.

Well Bindel? Hows that intresting combo running? I used to have an old 893. Ran good but I didn't really know much about dragracing back then. By the way, mad props on keeping it stock legenth. I don't think there's a need to stretch untill your at least past 200 horse.

Hey Bindel...everything worked great again, went back out to the track and did alot better than my first time running....straps work great.  Still working on getting off the line quicker.  Anyway, do you think it's too much for an F4i to handle, taking it to the track and dragging it like that.  Another buddy said I was crazy, and that I should get a different bike.  Wondering if I should step up to an RR?

no its not "bad" on the bike.. over time you may need a clutch a little faster but i was out there with a 600 F2 last year and that held up fine all year with no problems.. we have ALOT of 600's that run out at the track with us and the only thing that i have seen go wrong was one guy got a little sideways and laid his  his tl1000 down the first time out there.... you will be fine, get the hang of it on the F4 then step up to a bigger bike when you get it nailed!
