It's free...oh wait...that's just for military    Seriously, $295 is nothing....worth every penny...hell, you'll blow that much on a helmet and jacket.  Just think of the MSF course as another piece of protection you should purchase...right up there with a helmet for your noggin.

I paid $190 here in San Antonio, TX.  Enjoyed every minute of it and definitely worth every penny.

Depends, some states underwrite it, some dont. Some buy their own bikes for you to ride in the course and insure them against damage. Some places have to pay for the right to ride on someones property. They also have to pay the instructors for their time AND insure them against injury or lawsuits.

I have been looking at operating one here on my store's property in conjunction with the state program, and it my average COST per student is looking at about $220.

It's no joke, it's about the normal going rate.

I paid $295 for the RidersEdge course (worth every penny as some people previously stated). That's the normal going rate for a "good" class. You get what you pay for.

I also paid $495 for a track-class at the local track.

And I'm about to pay another $750 for a superbike class in November

So, I would send them an e-mail appologizing for your previous "nasty" email.
