I was just wondering if all 2001-2003 F4i frames were only made powdercoated in black. I would like to do a polished frame and swingarm with the new fairing kit i bought but i was wondering how hard it would be to do that with my black frame. If there is anyone out there that has gone through this process and info would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,
Nick

my suggestion would be to take it to a powder coat shop and ask if they can take it off/?

Get some aircraft stripper from a auto body paint shop, its the good stuff..like 12-15 bucks. Just brush it on, let it sit, scrape a little if you have to using something plastic, then just spray it off with a hose or presssure washer. Its simple..I did it to my wheels and to a f4i frame i had a while back.

yo mang...as he said...that's the way to go. you can also get the stuff from a hardware store like home depot, etc.
just brush it on and watch the caoting bubble up and then wipe off, etc.

don't let that shiznit go down the storm drain if you spray it...it's not good for the fish.
