Lubin' the chain and cables...

I used to use that Honda chain lube with graphite, but that stuff didn't seem like it stuck very well, so, I've been using the PJ1 Blue Label. That stuff is awesome! It sticks like super glue, seriouslly, feel the chain after a ride, and it's sticky as hell. I always use the Grunge Brush to clean the chain before hand, so...about lubing the cables, I remember seeing TahoeSC saying something about it, but, how exactly do are you suposed to lube the cables? Can you do it w/o removing them from the bike? Also, I have an Ohlins damper...are you suposed to get the oil/etc "recharged" every so often? Any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks guys and gals!

send the ohlins to get it serviced. you can send it back to them or one of their authorized shops...such as suspension shops (stig at www.ppsracing.com) as far as lubing the cable, you 'should' remove them and hang them up, get some lube that flows nicely and run it in on one side and wait for it to come out the other. if you do get lube that is runny enough, you may be able to do it without complete removal of the cables, just from the throttle or the clutch lever side....remove, pour it in, hold it up, pray that it goes through. they have some really runny cable lubes you can buy at the stealers or cycle gear. get creative and make the pressure in the can work for you!
