04 , lowered it 3 inches in the rear and abt 4 or 5 in the front.

yoshi exhaust, crg levers, 520 conversion is being shipped to me, frame sliders, gold reflective tape on the rims

im thinking about power commander and headers in the future but dont know yet...i just might get a 1000 and use the 600 as a stunt bike.

I use a blow dryer and just heat up the sticker till it bubbles up and peel it off....it was hard and a long process and it leaves a mark but i am taking it to my friend whose dad owns the body shop and see what he can do to fix that.

I wanted to lower it because it looks better low and plus stock...it was too high...it was higher than my friends 1000rr and I wanted to be able to flat footed...i know that lowering it would decrease the bike's performance and handling but Im not about performance.

Hey, you're just the man I'm looking for! How tall are you? Now... i'm only 5'3. I went to a honda motorcycle dealership today and tried sitting on the '05 CBR 600 RR's and man... their stock height is high! At first I thought i could probably lower it an inch or two by putting on the Corbin seats like everyone suggested, but the stock seat is already thin! So which type of lowering links did you get? How bad of a different in handling and performance did it impair the bike that everyone else is talking about? It's not that bad of a handling difference is it? I'm not the type that handle the bike to a knee-touching angle if thats what everyones standard of handling means. I would just like casual riding for fun to work and school.

OK guys, I just got my bike back today. Thank god after a month because I wiped out in the beginning in february due to an oiIl slick that I did not see at night. Anyways, I lowered it as much as possible and it really does impair the handling of the bike. U have to take a much wider turn. Now I am going to raise it back up just so I can corner alot better than I can right now.

My bike is completely brand new, bought new race bodyworks with headlights cut out (it looks sweet), pp tuning rearsets, custom mounted turn signals, passenger pegs turn signal, axle mount tag bracket. I will be doing more work to it... TBC
