ORIGINAL: CaptainTurman Nice work. Do you have a performance mod list for your '03 anywhere? Looks great. The motor is completely stock. Mainly because I don't want to deal with the reliability issues and maintenance of a built motor; a friend of mine is racing on a Ten Kate built motor which he has to rebuild about 3 times a year and this year his motor has already blown up once. I do have a PC3 and a Two Brother's slip-on with the stock air filter. No custom map, just pulled the one from the Dynojet website; if I continue to race the bike through next year, then I'll have it mapped since the track is at 4000 feet. On the suspension side, Ohlins internals in the forks and an Ohlins steering damper. Stock shock that has been revalved. Again, if I continue to race the bike through next year, I'll replace the stock shock with either a Penske or an Elka. I did, however, drop the front end 10mm and running the shortest wheelbase I can. This is for faster turn-ins and transitions. Also, it keeps the bike from wanting to stand up under trail braking; I believe this is a function of the combination of bike and tires that I'm running. I'm running -1 on the front sprocket and +2 on the rear sprocket. I could gear lower, but, that would cause me to use 2nd-6th. The track is very busy, so, I geared the bike to use 2nd-5th to save an extra downshift off the straights. Lastly, I replaced the stock front brake master cylinder with a Brembo radial pump master cylinder. And, I'm running Ferodo race pads.
