Well,

I was at the skills range, practicing turns and stops and what not in the rain, when I heard a loud pop, and the RPMs went WAY up. Immediatly pulled in the clutch and checked the gauges. Temperature skyrocketed immediatly. Put the bike in neutral to try and bring down RPMs, but didn't work. Hit the kill switch, and I heard loud hissing. Put down the kickstand and got off the bike to see a lot of water pouring out from underneath.

Doesn't sound good, huh?

I'm definatly hoping it's something cheap and easy. I'll know when the shop comes and picks it up on Monday.

Sounds like a head gasket to me. Are you sure it was just water, or could it have been coolant too? Or maybe you were just running water in your cooling system? At least you did the right thing by shutting it down right away.

Probably coolant also, it was raining, so it went into the  puddles on the ground, making it hard to identify.
