First off I want to say that I love this undertail.  I got it from a place that gave me an option to increase the number of leds in the taillights to 96 as opposed to something like 22.  It also has the 6 amber on each side for the turn signals and 1 white led for the license light.  It's really bright which is what I was looking for.

I only had one problem with the install.  It said to mount it to the bike by drilling four holes and using the supplied nuts and bolts.  I drilled two where those black screw clips go and I put the rubber "nutserts" (sort of like fairing fasteners) in the holes in the old undertail (this didn't fit too well, I'm wondering if that's the way it was supposed to be done) so I could get the regular screws in there....I have no idea where to drill the other two holes.  Does anyone who has this undertail on an 04-06 bike have any feedback on this?

Much appreciated

I just ordered one for my 06 f4i in yellow, lots of options and the only ones that even offer one for the banana seat f4 or f4i's.  They shipped mine instantly, I will post pics when I get it, here is the website.

http://www.mototeck.com/

You can choose lots of options, I didn't go with the upgraded bulbs due to the cost and the fact I see them on ebay cheap if I do want them, but I think they should be bright enough.  Hotbodies is putting their undertail out on the 10th of this month for the banana f4i's, but it will be $200, mototeck is usually $300 plus but is on sale right now, so I figured what the hell....

I have the same undertail and only drilled two holes in it.  Don't think the instructions I had said anything about any other holes.

that's a good point. i'll be painting my bike and paint will be custom, so the primed will be simplier to deal with.
the style is more in my taste too, it comes with number plate too.

mototeck wasn't always on sale, they were priced comparably before i think, but i didn't see any rumble undertails by any forum members still.
