01 f4i. stock sprockets.

i can pop it up in 1st gear just fine. (clutch)

and i know its possible because ive seen ppl pop it up in 2nd AND 3rd gear....with STOCK sprockets.....but i can't do it for some reason.

i somehow managed to bring it up once in 2nd gear using the clutch but i have no idea what i did so i can't do it again....the most itll come up is like maybe...MAYBE a feet.

is there anyone here that can pop em up in 2nd or knows how?
and if so, in what position? sit-down, standup, staggered...etc?

I have a 2000 F4 and can clutch em up with no problems. Find your powerband, while accelerating once you hit the powerband slip the clutch and it will come up. Make sure you dont let off the throttle, keep accelerating and you will be riding it. Just keep practicing

my bike will second gear power wheelie after 7000 rpms but i'm not really into that. i'd go -1/+2 and do 2nd gear clutch-ups for whoolies. the speed would be a lot slower so when you crash you'll hopefully have less damage. imo, first gear is a no no for whoolies

so you're saying to POWER em up in 2nd, just find the powerband, and stay on the gas?
...i'll try it but can tell yu right now that it wont work, because it didn't even come up like that with the clutch.

do i have to "bounce" the bike or anything like that?

and for all those who said 1st gear is scary, you're right, it is, just take your time and you'll get it.
slow shit is where its at.
