Sorry my camera was going dead and it was kinda windy. Here is a carbon fiber one. I will have some sound clips next week of them on my stock F4i on the dyno.

New exhausts I am going to be making on my days off at my fathers drag shop. One is carbon fiber and the other is aluminum. The end caps on the carbon fiber one will be black (Jet-Hot coated), and the aluminum one will be fully black (Jet-Hot coated). It is silver in the pictures now because I am sending them off to be coated tomorrow. Both canisters have a baffle and are wrapped with ceramic fiber mat. Unlike fiberglass it will never burn out or need to be replaced.

The distributor dropped off 15, 7 foot tubes of carbon fiber and 15, 7 foot tubes of aluminum for the canisters and 50 end caps. All 50 end caps and the aluminum tubes are being sent to Jet-Hot tomorrow and should be back within a week. I will post up some pictures and sound clips when I get things back fron Jet-Hot. Once we figure out a price I will post that too. Included with the exhaust will be 2 custom maps on disc for your power comander. One for a F4i with a stock filter and one for a F4i with a K&N filter.

They will be sold locally and on ebay. Here are a few unfinished pictures. I will post finished pictures when I get items back from Jet-Hot.

Yeah they will be more then $150. These will be Jet-hot coated and ceramic fiber is used instead of fiberglass. Plus they will come with a map for your power comander.

The exhaust dumps out the side and slightly down. The exhaust flow is out away from the rear tire. The last thing you want is your exhaust blowing on your rear tire. Its out just far enouf that even condensation will not drip down in the tires path. The canister is 2 1/4 inches away from the inside of the fairing so there is no worry of melting plastic. Plus being Jet-Hot coated the heat is pushed straight through. Tomorrow I am sending the end caps and aluminum tubing off to Jet-hot to be coated. Should take a week or so turn around. Once I have them back I will have some sound clips made. I will take some video of the custom maps being made on the dyno-jet dyno. Yes they fit on stock swingarms. I just threw it on my drag bike for a quick picture because my other bikes are at the shop. I will have some pictures of them on a stock F4i.

I will have better pictures when I get the parts back and have a finished product. Just wanted to show some of the mock up pictures to see if there was any interest of  forum members first before going the ebay route.

If it was $100 flat... I'd buy one just for fun to keep swapping on and off with my carbon rs-3 yosh.

and really interested in how it sounds.  can't exactly tell too much on volume and everything from a sound clip, always has to be in person.  best you could do is describe it to us.  how does it sound compared to my current exhaust (yosh rs-3)?  louder?  deeper sound or higher pitched?  etc etc etc.

From my experience, the ladies aren't into small exhausts.  they think it's cute and unmanly.  they want the bigger pipes.  they said that to my friend who had a shorty... ouch... his ego...
