Gpr, scotts are good rotary style.  Toby Piston style is what I have.  Ohlins (self explanatory), and Hyperpro RSC are very good.  All can be found on a site called indysuperbikes.com.  They drop ship from Lockhart Phillips.  Next closest to a private sale, or ebay.  Cheaper than most.  Check out the track type forums, like team promotion or nesba

I have a GPR and it works great on the track and the canyons as well, keeps me very confident  coming of the turns under heavy acceleration. I bought it on ebay at a really good price.

I saw the GPR on e bay and outta all the dampers it's the least expensive i thauth that was maybe because it wasn't as good as the other ones .. but u seem to think it's good .. i also saw a brand new scott damper for 505$ (cdn)and it seems to be a resonable price for that item. My first choice was an ohlins damper which did not come with mounting brackets .. think i should invest into that ??

I had a scotts on my zuki and currently have a Storz on the 954, very pleased with both on performace and quality. The only real differance i noticed is the storz is quicker to adjust on the fly, but the scotts is much more compact, but i would buy either one again.

i got a gpr. had it a full season. works great for me set at 5 out of 8. one nice thing is the ease of adjusting stiffness. just turn the knob if your movin it around the garage so its easy to turn.

That Hyper Pro RSC is supposedly some the best technology out there with that Active Dampening system.  Nice in appearence, above what I was able to afford, but it was the first choice I wanted to go with.

I just got a matris off ebay on my 929 and love it. I personally hate the rotary style dampers. Look like ass but many people love them. Hyperpro is a good damper.
