hi was was done after 91 or 90 to the bikes i heard the earlier years suffered from the cc/cct the most.

Did have problems with mine to start with but after cleaning worked great and had no noise since. Mines an 88 model..

how many miles since you cleaned the bugger out? is there a way to clean it while still in the motor? prime it out...compressed air?
