If you go into the 6O0 MOD thread there is a positng of a guy that put a 900rr engine in a F3. He showed pics and gave good details so look for it.

These bikes are known as CBR69's and are a handful. Be careful!!!! Very careful!!!!!! If you can handle a bike that wants to lift all the time and i mean ALL the time then go for it. It'll lift out of corners if your not careful!!! It can be done tho!!! Good luck if you choose to go ahead with it.

search this site. bindelsf2 and I, along with some others have alot of post on this mod. and when people say "why don't u just buy a 900?" tell them u don't want to. Thst is the ez, boring way. I hate it when people are scared to try something new.

I asked why wouldn't he just buy a 900 and swap on 600 plastics because all he wants is a sleeper....
I have no problem with throwing a 900 engine in a 600.  I think that's pretty cool and fun to figure it out.  Plus, it's one of a kind...well....two.  I suggested a body swap because it's way easier if all he wants is a sleeper.
