I just picked up this jacket the other day....  http://www.motostrano-store.com/motorhead.html

Also, just ordered this helmet off ebay http://www.motoworldonline.com/Shoei-RF-1000-Diabolic-3_p_389-431.html... WOO-HOO! Just need some gloves and i'm set, any suggestions? I've heard gel padding in the palm is really good to ride with.

the liner comes out easily and the jacket feels good with and without it in. Compared to the Alpinestar jacket i tried on, this one has a more (broken in) leather feel so it's not as tight at first when you are wearing. I actually just got it this past week so i havent had a cance to try it inthe summer time and not much recently either, i did wear it to work last night though and with a high of about (30 degrees) it kept me warm. it has a lot of vents in the front and back and shoulder area, so im sure it wont be too bad im the summer.

I like to keep things simple the second best pair of gloves I've owned. No glove I have ever put on has ever come close to Spidi Carbovents. When I trashed those I picked up the GP Techs. They're good, comfortable, and protect pretty well.
They must have went up cause I payed $160 for mine. Now they're about $240 oops.

doesnt anyone suggest any "everyday" riding gloves?

I use my gloves everyday, from riding to shoveling my driveway.

I have A* SP-1. They're $90 and they're nice gloves. You also might want to check icon merc gloves. Those are nice too. The short gloves go for about $65-$70.

http://www.ridegear.com/rg/item/F-15209/Alpinestars__S_MX_3_Gloves_.html those are the gloves i have.. no complaints they're warm when its cold and breath so your hands dont get too hot in the summer.. theres some pretty good leather and protection on them too, nothing like a race glove though

I just picked up that jacket also. So far I'm loving it.

As far as gloves, I've got the SP-2 from Alpinstars and they are amazing!
