Both bikes have less than 10K miles. $5800 for a 2001 GSXR 1000 or $5200 for 2003 954 w/ chrome and why?

954.. overall the Honda will hold up better and they have about the same power... less i know 1000cc vs 954 but RWHP are about the same, but u are on a honda forum.. so i think u know the overall answer you will get HONDA 2003 954RR

Coming from a Gix i can say both bikes are great to be honest, i made the switch as i am getting older and the Honda was way more comfortable. For what its worth i am 6' 2" and about 220.

I also made the switch from a gixxer and i agree +12. the honda is WAY more comfortable. my back, neck hurt after every long ride on the gsxr. always had to pull over and do a little stretching. HONDAHONDAHONDAHONDAHONDA!!!!!

well I imagine if you posted this on a gixxer forum you might get a different answer, but we're all going to say honda

The 954 is also easier to ride fast. That model gixxer is a rocket but only in the right hands.
