ok...so this was my first trackday...
had a blast...great weather...found out that i had some bad habits...
tried to be smooth but harder than i thought...
comment on ti2tt...cheap...$160...but i was kinda disappointed...instructors were not approachable...you couldn't see 'em until the session starts...and they ride like a buncha maniacs...
not recommended to newbs...
as for going to trackdays...had a blast and gained alotta confidence...signed up for Thunderhills in June 30 by Keigwin's...hopefully my budget allows more in 2007...

here's the low resolution sample...this is the best one i got...

some of us getting ready for a session

our pit spot...we had a garage too...

all loaded up...

hey mang...you roll with BARF guys or what?
the angle that the photo dude took of your pix is a bad angle, it makes everyone's body positioning look worse than it actually is!
but just remember...in the end it's what makes you comfy. there are super fast guys who have supposedly 'bad' positioning but they are uber fast...then again who knows...maybe they will be uber duper fast if they had better positioning? i doubt anyone has brought that up to them anyway.

TiT2 is dope! you not likey? some of the instructors ride like mad. i know one of them...he wasn't too happy when we were out there cause he said we were sand bagging...muahahah...i told him i have street tires on and the sport group had too many crashes...he slapped me like a hoe and said ok...muhahaha...but most will follow you around and give you pointers if you asked...

DID YOU ASK? muahhahaha...
very nice suit!

yeah...they're from BARF and SBR...
i wanted to ask but they disapprears when session is over and pops back out when session actually starts...
i guess i just heard too many good srories about ZOOM ZOOM's and Keigwin's...I'll judge 'em after I attend both...
Oh...and thanks for the laugh...

Hey, whats goin on? I am definately interested in going to the track. It looks like so much fun! I have noticed that there are different companies that take out groups. I am in SLO, Ca and have found two that go to Buttonwillow (ti2tt, thetrackclub). Does anyone have any recommendations? I am looking to go around June/July.

ti2tt is the only one i attended so far...
thing with them is they tell you not to pass on the inside but the instructors will pass you on the inside over the candy strips...sup with that?...
signed up for June 30th @ T-hill by Keigwin's...whew...it's gonna be hot on that day...

Sweet. I've only been to Buttonwillow once, but it's a really fun track. I just love the high-speed sweeper. For some reason, the day I went, people were crashing like crazy! Fortunately the organizers were really good about getting them off the track, and I only saw one red flag. I gotta head back there sometime soon.

I just went to Buttonwillow with The Track Club and they ran the best track day I've been to. I went on a Tuesday and they said we only had about 2/3 of the people they had the day before. More track time than I could do, I figured I could have done 8 sessions but I missed the first and left early so I missed the last. I'm old so give me a break OK. I will be going back with them for sure. As for Take it 2 the track I went with them to Willow Springs last month and it was pretty good. I did win the raffle and got a free track day so I would have to say it turned out to be a real good day. I'm going with them on the 27th to Pahrump for my free day, I can't wait.
