Hey guys,

sadly, earlier today i layed my 95 1000F down. There wasnt much damage but for the windscreen and some side fairing scuffing. Im trying to find an aftermarket windscreen for it but not a super tall "touring" one. Any suggestions on where to look for a windscreen?

thanx,

I have never bought anything yet, but they have a lot of selection.

if the old one isn't busted too low, you could cut it down whatever is needed?

I was thinking about pulling one of these. But I can't find the upper shield that he uses...

That looks like a flip/touring screen bolted to a standard screen.

I think I wouldn't mind a tinted winscreen, can you add the tint or do you have to buy them that way

Usually have to buy them that way. I would love to have a double bubble windscreen, sadly no one made one for the bike (and not the one with the upturned lip).

They have a double bubble, but it wouldn’t be cheap coming from the land-of-oz

Mind you, I spent $150 on a screen from the UK, only to destroy it in a wreck 3 weeks later. Found out when I got it that it was the same style that is ofered in the states.....

Karlo1000 I have a double bubble with a touring lip cost me $ 140 AUS and it was the best thing I have ever bought some people say it has changed the bike shape too much but hey Im no teenager 50 ! When we go past a truck now we simply cut straight through no more of being shaken to death or lying down on the tank. In the rain it is fantastic we went on a small trip the other weekend and the rain was so heavy I could see much more than 10 metres in front of me and I had my navman on its mount and it was protected from the rain , couldnt ask much better than that eh. I have posted a coupel fo pics for you.

Wazza thanks for the pics, I  know what you mean about the wind protection as my MRA touring screen gives the same effect, I prefer the look of the MRA screen to be honest I think it suits the bike better.

The DB screen is not quite how i figured it would look, but they all seem to differ slightly in design i've noticed,

Everyone has different opinions though thats what makes us individuals.

Thanks Again for the pics matey.
