Has anyone heard of ARATA S/O having problems with it leaking? Trying to chose either SATO or ARATA?

Please help!

any pipe has the potential to leak, but it is easily cureable with the proper tools and equipment..but I have not heard about this problem you mention..by leaking you mean exhaust leak right?? and where is it supposedly supposed to have this problem?? the headpipes, the mid pipe??

I have heard the xhaust leak is coming from the mid pipe! Trying to rule out before I make a decision of either to SATO or ARATA!

Thanks!

The higher end pipes usually won't leak as long as you install them properly. Sometimes that means taking an extra 30 minutes to check stuff. Some people tend to rush the install and then blame the manufacturer. Not saying this is always the case but, knowing the peeps I know, certainly within the realm of possibility Either of the pipes you mention is a good pipe -- I prefer the 2Bros ... but that's just me.

The only mid pipe leak I've heard of was when some retard forgot to install the factory clamp.

Between the two you mention i`d go for Sato, alot more race proven quality and i`ve seen a few examples and the build is second to none.

I've had ZERO problems with my Arata. I have the "new style" design that fills the void under the fender. I would have to say that maybe the leak was caused by the installer not seating all the clamps and gaskets properly. I have a hard time believing that Arata would build a leaky pipe but who knows, NO company is perfect
