Parts for my 900RR...

Anyone got a motor tore apart & have a crank layin' around? I spun a bearing and messed up the crank... My bike's a '93, but I think one up to '96 is the same. Thanks!

I need it pretty bad...Well, not ASAP, but pretty bad. I just bought a '94 RR to ride while I fix the '93... The '93 is in a buddies garage all tore to hell & I'd like to get it on the road before too long. What do you want for it? Hit me up 727-385-7821

no hits on ebay hmm keep a check tho new stuff everyday there is a 929 cank for $350 on there err high price!

96 got the new 918cc motor, so I would believe that the cranks are different..here I confirmed it 13300-MAE-000 CRANKSHAFT Thats the 93 part 13300-MAS-000 CRANKSHAFT that is the 96...similiar but different (good ol' Ron Ayers website)

In all honesty, you might be better off just getting another engine. By the time you source a new crank (assuming it's still good) , order up new bearings, etc.. you could probablly had a new one in and running for close to the same money. Also, if the bearings spun enough to damage the crank to were it's unusable, what do the crank journals in the block look like? They may be warped or damaged too. In witch case, if salvagable, might require an alighn bore of the case. So, do a little number crunching and keep your options open. On an up note. Considering you have a new ride already, you can use your old top end and have it ported and posssibly trick out the old bike a bit, while still having a few spares. Just a thought [sm=nerd.gif]

there is a crank shop in FL falcon they tell me they fix a lot of 893cc motors they say it is caused from long wheels that puts all the oil to the back of the block #3 is almost always the first to go if it is in good shape other than that the one spun bearing they will fix for $250 + s/h i think you will have to call the prob. was fixed in the 919 motor so i hear

I called them and they told me $289 + tax and a 3 week turn around!
