mine said 167 but my 520 conversion makes it off by 15 or 20mph over what im actually going. took my 05 f4i to the dragstrip in town and my best run was a flat 13 in the 1/4 mile. i was kind of dissapointed I couldnt get under. has anyone els e ran theirs yet??????

You guys r crazy. My speedo said 113 on a main road at like 230am. That was it. Scary enough for me. All I needed was a pothole, squirrel, raccoon, deer or somethign to jump out and that would be it

its not acceleratin to high speeds thats scary, its sustaining high speeds for extended time that has the exponential risk.

i dont have that much seat time on a bike, but the acceleration on these bikes is so impressive, rompin on it from 60 to 120 is so quick you barely realize your driving dangerously.....im not sure i would feel comfortable riding at 150 for more than a second....thats pretty damn fast, been 155 a few times in my m3, and the car was rock solid, but after 10 seconds or so you realize how stupid it is to drive that fast.....sometimes you even get pulled over and it completely ruins your life......ask me why i have a car payment and no car...

140 on my 06 f4i but that was stock now i got a slipon and a k&n if its not to windy tomorrow ill give it another go

My speedo read 171 going downhill before I did my gear change. In reality it was probably actually close to 160 MPH.

at 160 all a cop sees is a BLLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRR.

i was clocked at 115mph in my 99 m3 which didnt like to rev in 4th past 5500rpms, i think i was doing 130 when i saw the reflection from the state tropper and slowed down. 6 days in jail, hefty fine, loss of license for a year. i never use to speed in my 99 it just didnt like the upper rpms(different intake manifold and OBD2) so i never had the desire to get on it at over 100mph...it basically wasnt any fun so i didnt do it.

my 95 m3 which was tuned(230 rwhp) was a totally dif beast and was so addicting running it at 6 and 7k rpms in 3rd 4th and 5th. if you pass a cop at 155 on the highway he is probably not gonna catch you, had a close call on 95 coming from Florida on a wide open stretch, i got infront of all the traffic then gagged it, the cop couldnt get around everyone, so i exited and ate lunch.

was it worth it? hell F(*&^%ing NO! will i ever drive that fast again in a bike? hopefully not. Speed is just one of those things that is relative to what you are driving, its an adrenaline things i guess, the more the rush the more you want more of it. s2000's are the same, im glad i dont own one, 9k rpms is such a rush, its hard to say no to..

Ive got mine up to 155 couldn't hold it to long the front end was getting to lite

I've seen a speedo indicated 170mph while trying to keep up with an R6. Only performance mods I have are a full LeoVince exhaust.

Seen 172 on my speedo same as HINDRA- it will not go any quicker rev limiter was cutting in at 14500- my bike is tuned no major mods,just have to get right down behind that fairing,chin on tank and knees and elbows tucked right in,and arse back--probably in the low 160,s--no bull

With my '02 F4i I have hit 170mph. My mods are K&N air filter, PCIII, Front and rear sprocket, DID chain, Devil exhaust. I was on a flat road at sea level. Once I seen 170, it quickly kicked down to 169 then 168.
