Hello I would just like to introduce myself and my brand new to me cbr 600 F1. I have been riding a 1981 cb900f, but was looking for something a bit smaller and lighter. Picked her up for 1900 with a helmet and Jacket I won't use. ;)
New Tires, D&D exhaust, and a new paint job.

Couple of ?s, does anyone know where I could pick up a fairing bolt kit for her, also are there any aftermarket seat kits around for this bike. Thanks

Chuck

First off congrads and welcome to the site.  Beautiful looking cane you have there.

As for the bolt kits, I would do some scouring on ebay, its probably your best bet for the dollar.  As for aftermarket seats, a lot of guys have gone with an RR tail mod.  rrosco just did his and it looks exceptional.  If you want to keep it more stock looking, try http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hondaz/CBR600F1198790.htm  They make a slip over that just needs paint and some holes to make it bolt in.

Well i had a gun fighter with lady on my old bike. I would like that style as my girl does like to ride with me. But I guess I could just reupolster the seat and get a the cover from airtech. Does corbin even make a seat for us cane riders anymore?

What's wrong with the helmet and jacket?

you can always strip the seat down to the seatpan and buy new seat foam and cut into the desired shape then re-upholster. any local upholstry shop that does automotive interiors will or should have a large selection of cover types for you to choose from, texture, color, piping, etc. i had my seat reupholstered for $45, same texture and color as the oem seat, nothing fancy.

i would not ever wear a used helmet.  you dont know if its ever been dropped or down.  which can compromise the insulation.

Wow.... that looks really nice... and I have to agree that Jo-Ann fabrics is going to be your best bet for the seat.  I recovered a few car seats with vinyl from there.... a bike seat shouldn't need more than 1/2 a yard of material, and tops $10 in foam.... in all the total deal should cost $20 and take a few hours to cut the foam to shape and staple the covering over it.....

good luck and congratulations on a very nice bike

Thanks guys. The color is nice just not exactly my taste, though it has grown on me. Anyone want to suggest a nice helmet that is sub 200 that would match?

check on ebay, you can often get a helmet for alot less than retail, my helmet was $160 MSRP, but i got it for around $70. dunno how much the icon mainframe is, but i thought they had one close to that color.
