I'm lookin to do a couple day oly-pen loop and that road to neah bay sounds fun.  Anyone have suggestions on stops, camping areas (that are streetbike friendly)?  I'll be camping for sure and in a hammock...so all I need is a cool place to stop and two trees.

Who's done the oly-pen loop?  I'd love any input you might have...

im in the center over on the peninsula in sequim there. captn obvious is from like kent or somewhere and theres like one or two more people out near seattle i think. or wait your one of them so theres like two other people. i dont know man you miss lake cresent and lake sutherland on 101 if you take 112. the lakes kinda fun but then it straitens out more i think. 112 has less cops i think but i could be proven wrong  i know the semi trucks are speeding so thats a good sign. the lakes have a camping sites. but there is also salt creek out on 112 theres like bunkers and camping for everything. or you can just hide off on the side of the road and boon dock it hell. fancy hammock campin ehh

Chris, haven't you been up to Hurricane ridge? It's a great ride with lot's of twisties!
I've done 112 and it's a great road too, as long as the RV's aren't out. Not a lot of WSP out that far, but between Port Gamble and Port Angeles they are thick with the latest frickin lidar. Even the V1 has a hard time when they ambush you from other side of a rise. Don't ask me how I know
There really isn't a way all the way around the penninsula. The Olympic Mountains, national park (rain forest) and the Indian reservation keep road builders out. There are a number of camping spots along the way and in and around Neah Bay.
There is also another ride planned for April 29 going over to Hwy 2 to the Grand Coulee dam and back. About 420 miles total.
Here's some info from sport-touring.net.
I'd be interested in heading out to the peninsula but because of my schedule probably not until May or late June. We are going to South Dakota via Lolo Pass and Yellowstone in the middle of June.
Rino and Chris, you need to check out this book! Lot's of great roads, and info all written by and for motorcyclists! I carry it in my tank bag on every trip!
