u'll first wanna check out the most serious issues to see if there is a difference in motor mounts...remember that they changed the swingarm/motor/frame mounts and made the transmission & motor part of the structural frame...not sure which yrs were the same

You seem like the perfect person for this question...seems you've ridden a 929 before (if my assumption is correct). What would you say are some of the most significant differences between the '01 929 and the 954 '02-'04? I'm wondering if I get the opportunity if it would be worth upgrading.
