Has anyone else installed the Sportvue MC2 in-helmet display on the 06-07 1000rr's?  I just got done installing and the speed sensor mounting bracket had to be seriously modified to get it to work.  Haven't had it out on the street yet waiting on some heat shield tape for the bottom fairings (heard the pipes were melting the honda stickers) before I put it all back together (pain in the ass to take all the fairings off) and an oil change while i got it all apart.  Let me know if you had the same problems and how it is working for you.

Lucky me, I read about it on the Forum and went to 2bros.com and ordered the heat tape before mine melted.  I taped the whole bottom fairings for about 20 bucks.  Hopefully it will take care of the problem.

What are you guys doing that your fairings are melting?  I have an 06 1000RR with 5,123 miles and my fairings still look new.  I just put an Arrow moto GP replica Full system on about 10 Miles ago.
