Hey, I am looking for some advice on some modifications, body, and mechanical to my 1987 cbr honda hurricane that I can do. I had bought this bike about two years ago and went through six differnt owners before it got to me. Unfortunitly the bike was not taken care of at all, has have been beaten the S@#T out of. When I first bought it none of the fairings meet or lineup, tons of rust in the fuel tank, it did not start, brakes were worn down so bad, tires gone, starter switch was broken, chain was rust, this list goes on......... but now I want to bring this baby back to life. I had managed to get it started last year and there is ticking noises that go away in about ten minutes of warming up. I cleaned the fuel tank and change oil and spark plugs. I am thinking of doing a complete rebuild to the bike engine and all, but I want to update the look of the bike. Any feed back would be awesome thanks. I will start to post pictures went I start the work to show you guys my progress thanks again.

I think you should upgrade to current honda fairings like the F4I. Give the bike a good service and clean it up as much as possible and you are good to go.
