im not suere where your going to find a 125cc honda. Your best bet is to go to the track during AFM races and see if anyone is selling there race bikes. If your trying to a 2 smoker to ride on the street in CA. Good luck. It can be done but it is a bitch.  Now for 125 are you looking for a 125cc street bike? or a super moto or a dirt bike? As far as closet place to race im not sure. Look up Tahoe SC and he will most likely no he is from down there.

The rs125 is a purpose built bike for track only.  I think they still make them, but no dealer is likely to have one on the floor....and they aren't cheap.  A used one with lots of spares is probably the best alternative.  They are around....WERA and CCS have forums as well. Cycle News, Road Racing World are among other places to look.

google rs125, I am sure you'll get some hits.
