If you could have any bike you wanted...besides a Moto GP bike or a race bike...I'm talkin' any street/sport bike...which and why?

I'll go first...

2007 Ducati 1098...140+ BHP...italian...and Ferrari...empty the ticket book red.

Good looking bike...but if I were going to go the Honda Repli-Racer route...I'd grab a Repsol copy...
even though it only has 10-11 grand on the tach...

I am a wait a see kind of guy, and I like to ponder a purchase for a while, so.....

2009 Ducati  1098-R

IF there are any issues with the 07 I hope they work it out by then. Not sure if the R model will be reality by then, I hope so.

I would have to add an MV Agusta F4...also Italian...and about 40k.

quote:

MV Agusta F4 R 312: The Fastest Motorbike in the World

The evolution of racing bikes is the result of many small steps. the underlying concept is never abandoned, rejected or turned upside down. It is only meticulous little changes that finally lead to perfection. It is for this very reason that the F4 has made history in the annals of sports bikes and gone on to become a legend.

The F4 of today is a symbol of this legend. The R312 where "three hundred and twelve" is the top speed. To go fast means, tests, hard work, sweat and winning on the track with all the sacrifices and dedication that calls for. With the F4 1000 R MV Agusta was the protagonist last season in the Superstock production series. Unlike others, it is style that adds to the MV machines lined up on the starting grid. More words seem hardly enough to describe the beauty and appeal of a model that, still today, leaves the competition unable to answer.

I'm a Honda guy...well...getting there...

Just noticed that top bike is an RC45...real race bike...like Coilin Edwards used in WSBK in 2000-2001...

Great pick!

The RC45 not even just being a real great track bike, it's just amazing to look at and somewhat rare. They were around for about six years and the ones that weren't wrecked on the street or the track are now sitting in garages never to been seen again.

Either a 2007 CBR 600 RR or a GSX-R 600.  Either one would be enough for me.  I think I would stick with the Honda.
