I just want to get my old plugs out and my new plugs in. thanks in advance for the help.

its kind of hard to get it in there. i use 3/8" drive, with a 17mm socket (if i remember correctly) and a small extension. i put the extension on the socket, then put that over the plug, then attach the ratchet. then you have to get the plug out. thats up to you, i use airline tubing for aquariums, or fuel line then slip it over the end and pull out the plug.

Or, I'll sell you my original, Honda tool kit, plug wrench, with the little notch cut out to fit inside that little casting...for...$500. (Would have sounded reasonable to me...when I tried the first 2-3-4 plug wrenches and they were all too...wrong.) Seriously, you should look on ebay for an original tool kit...most times they are cheese...but with Honda apparently necessary. Also, I have this ratchet, that is like a box-end wrench as well. In other words it has little teeth and can grip any nut, bolt, plug extension, no matter the angle HTH....

rrasco has the best fix but you gotta make shure its a 17 with thin walls or it still won't fit. Try using a magnet to get the plugs out after you undo them.
